SNS Mobile Mechanics (“the Technician”) provides mobile vehicle servicing and repairs at the customer’s home or workplace. By booking an appointment, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Pricing
All quotes are estimates until parts and labour are confirmed. Prices may vary depending on part availability, brand chosen, and vehicle conditions discovered during inspection.
3. Parts
Customers may supply their own parts if they wish; however:
• The Technician cannot offer warranty on customer-supplied parts.
• If parts do not fit or are incorrect, additional labour costs may apply.
• All parts provided by the Technician include a standard manufacturer warranty.
4. Labour Warranty
Labour is covered for 30 days from the date of service. Warranty does not apply if:
• Customer-supplied parts fail.
• The vehicle has unrelated mechanical issues.
• The vehicle is modified or unsafe.
• Another party has worked on the vehicle after the repair.
5. Diagnostics
Diagnostic checks identify faults based on information provided by the vehicle’s ECU and live data.
Some issues may require further mechanical inspection or additional diagnostic time.
Diagnostics do not guarantee the repair cost until full investigation is completed.
6. Pre-MOT Checks
The pre-MOT check is a visual inspection only. It is not a guarantee that the vehicle will pass an MOT, as some items may only be detectable with workshop equipment or during official MOT testing.
7. Mobile Limitations
As a mobile service, certain repairs cannot be performed due to:
• Space restrictions
• Weather conditions
• Safety considerations
• Need for specialist equipment or a workshop lift
If a job cannot be completed on-site, the customer will be informed and given options.
8. Payments
Payment is due on completion of the job, unless otherwise agreed. Accepted methods:
• Card
• Cash
• Bank transfer
Late payments may incur additional charges.
9. Cancellations
Customers may reschedule or cancel with 24 hours’ notice. Short-notice cancellations may incur a fee, unless due to emergency.
10. Liability
SNS Mobile Mechanics is not responsible for:
• Pre-existing issues or faults unrelated to the work carried out.
• Damage caused by customer-supplied parts.
• Further issues caused by neglect, lack of servicing, or misuse.
All work is carried out with reasonable care and skill.
11. Loyalty Scheme
Every 5th oil service is FREE labour. Parts are still charged. The offer applies only to oil services, not brake jobs or major repairs.
